So i rescued these two gerbils yesterday, the person didn't tell me anything about them so i've had to sex them, no idea their age or anything.
But they're little boys, and i've called them Marshall & Forrest.
Definatly not getting anymore animals now, 21 is the end of! LOL Flag
Here's a photo of them wag tongue

Very cute, i quite like Gerbils, but their tails scare me Laugh x
Awwwww, they look sweet Smitten

What is it about the tails you don't like Chloe???

I have to say I was in P@H the other weekend and saw some rats that looked quite cute facially but they had really long thick tails that looked a bit like earthworms!!!
Aww.. so sweet Susie. Gerbils are great little pets, always on their hind feet looking about.
It's a shame you don't know their age.
MS I agree about rats tails looking like earthworms LOL Flag.. My mum has always been terrified of them for that reason. Gerbils tails are different though.. They are hairy and not so long.
As MrsCross says Gerbils aren't soooo bad because they are hairy, but rats and mice' tails really make me cringe. x
Aw they are adorable. Smitten
I personally don't get why people don't like rats tails... tongue

I understand where you are coming from with rats and their tails.. (although I do like rats and wish i wasn't so worried by them)... but mice, I love them to bits, I find their tails cute too Thumbs up
They are very cute smile
I love little tails they're soooo cute! smile They are adorable little Gerbils, Marshall the brown one is quite inquisitive, yet wary, but Forrest is very skittish and frightened sad

Yes, they probably haven't had a lot of love. Good luck with taming xx
Taming is going very well. I had my friend over last night who is experienced with gerbil handling, and she gave me a lot of confidence and i was able to handle the boys Waaah! very quick tamers.. lol. They've definatly got more confident too they used to run and hide at any movement now they sit at the top of their gerbilarium on the look out LOL Flag
That's great news Susie Thumbs up
Oh that sounds very promising. I'm glad they've settled so quickly. More pics please!!! LOL Flag
It's going splendidly! smile They are fascinating little animals, Gerbils!

MS- Your wish is my command LOL Flag
